Actor Jeremy Renner was trying to stop his snowplow from sliding and hitting his nephew when he was crushed by the tractor on New Year's Day, a Nevada sheriff's office incident report says. The Jan. 1 incident report from Washoe County Sheriff's Office says Renner towed his nephew’s truck out of the snow at his Reno property on a private road. The plow, called a Pistenbully, started sliding down a hill so Renner got out but without putting the emergency brake on, the report says. The plow — which runs on a track — was then sliding toward his nephew, who was in his truck. The report says Renner tried to step up on the track to divert the plow or stop it.

The doctor added that they added temporary skin grafts from “human cadaver skin” to Leno’s body, which is a standard procedure.
